Represented organization in governmental and non-governmental committees, to County Executive, in negotiation, and led board in decision-making, grant making, and strategic planning activities.  Supervised executive director and successful execution of fundraising and sponsorship engagement activities for Blues Festival, Harvest Moon Festival, Tribute to America’s Veterans Concert, Film & Lecture Series, Arts Salon, and other event properties as a part of the mission of the organization to provide community-based arts & entertainment at Silver Spring’s official town square.

Directed all facets of development and programming including sponsorship deals, talent, venue relations, marketing and publicity. Developed and executed digital and grassroots marketing projects for various clients in Washington, D.C.  

Developed and produced branded Can A Sista Rock A Mic? arts & performance festival events with over 2 million impressions in D.C. metropolitan area with over 100 emerging acts, bands and artists including recent Grammy nominated and nationally televised performers, at over 20 different venues.

Fostered relationships with corporate supporters, securing sponsorship with multiple brands including Toyota, Whole Foods, Zipcar, Red Stripe, Barefoot Wine, Glaceau/Vitamin Water, U.S. Census, and Peterson Companies’ “Downtown Silver Spring”. 

Developed
 and executed marketing campaign digitally and IRL, launching brand activation of Fusicology.com D.C./Baltimore market, and driving it to top 3 in unique views internationally from 2006-2009.


·       Produced and directed monthly pop-up art exhibits and music events with national artists.

·       Managed branding, promotion, booking, digital marketing, album and video launches of independent artists, featured on major outlets such as MTV, VH1 and BET.
